Interesting. I find that great actually. Awesome bands/artists (maybe not James Brown :P) with no number ones and yet they are legends in music.
but england is considered the hardest place in musicbusiness afaik. its hard to get to no.1 and its hard to stay there. not much people make no.1 more then three weeks for example, whereas in germany for example its not uncommon to stay at no.1 for a few weeks.
I mean the UK, ofcourse, been messing that up all my life now, sorry.
